Machine Opening & Closing Procedures
Opening
Place your machine on production mode.
Wait for all four segments of your operations mode icon to be complete.
Dispense 1 full Smooch cup of ice cream and discard.
Clean your hopper lid (Hand wash with detergent, and then sanitise)
Clean the outside of your machine including the machine interface, drip tray, and overflow.
Clean and sanitise your machine handle.
Clean and sanitise the ice cream exit point.
Closing
Place your machine on conserve mode.
Check the level of your mix and top up the machine if you can see the low-level sensor inside.
Clean the outside of your machine including the machine interface, drip tray, and overflow.
Clean and sanitise your machine handle.
Clean and sanitise the ice cream exit point.
*All sanitiser used should be food safe (i.e, D10)
*You should be cleaning with detergent and sanitiser to ensure each part is fully clean.
*You should be cleaning your machine regularly throughout the day in addition to your standard opening and closing procedures
